About Me

I’m an artist, wife + momma to the wrinkliest little fur-baby located in Pittsburgh, PA (go Pens!).

I am rooted in my faith, love to travel but hate to take the same trip twice, obsessed with my Peloton (all good things make you sweaty, right?), and would give anything to skip my 9-5 job + binge watch Netflix all day. Also, I believe that wine + cheese are a way of life, typically accomplished with prescribed girls nights.

From the time I was three and having my Grandma make quilt squares out of my doodle characters, I told everyone that I was going to be an artist when I grew up. While life has taken me in many directions, drawing remains my creative outlet that brings me back to center. I’ve spent years watching the clock tick by at an office job but, when I am working on an illustration, I get engrossed for hours as if nothing else exists. It is truly my happy place!

While I’ve worked in many mediums over the years, to me, nothing beats pencil to paper. I started creating paper dolls after seeing another artist’s version and thought, I can do that!

The first couple I created was a wedding portrait of myself + hubby as a whimsical way to capture our special day and decorate our new home. Initially, this was just a fun, personal project, but once family and friends saw my work, the outpouring of interest led me to start making portraits as gifts to celebrate their special occasions as well (engagements, new babies, new fur-babies, you name it!). The heart felt gratitude + appreciation was so overwhelming that I finally listened to their advice and thus Christine Elise Creative was born.

While this business is still fairly new and I remain at my office job, the opportunity to work with people to create such specialized + personal works of art is a dream. I am so lucky to have found a passion that truly feeds my soul!

Thank you for stopping by!
